DATA PROTECTION AUDIT AND
DATA PROTECTION CONSULTING
With the introduction of the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), numerous new obligations were established for businesses in order to strengthen data privacy and therefore protect customers and partners better.
During our Data Protection Audit, our lawyers review the client's current situation and compare it to legal requirements of the GDPR, the new German Data Protection Act (BDSG-new) and other regulations. After concluding this GAP analysis, we create an individually customised catalogue of measures to establish data protection compliance. This includes, for example, a data protection policy for the company website, employee trainings and guidelines as well as instruction for handling data breaches. In some cases, a data protection analysis of existing contracts may also be necessary; for this, we can also make use of our Intelligent Data Analysis IDA if the scope requires it. Of course, we continually assist the client with the implementation of the entire catalogue of measures.
In the framework of our day-to-day consultation, we offer our clients a Legal Tool for document automation that allows specialist departments without legal expertise to easily generate documents such as data processing agreements (DPAs) themselves. This reduces the scope of the review to the essential questions.
We help protect businesses and create a perfect data protection law basis for them!
CLARIUS.LEGAL has developed a tool that allows you to estimate the amount of a possible fine for a GDPR violation in your business. The tool calculates the expected amount of the fine in a few steps based on the fine concept of the Data Protection Conference.
