Legal Operations Management

Situation

A subdivision of the legal department of a medium-sized business is constantly overloaded. The burden of daily tasks prevents long-term organisational issues from being tackled. Something must change, but it is unclear what.

Solution

After a three-month phase in which an Interim Legal Operations Manager familiarises themselves with and analyses the concrete challenges and daily work of the department, standard activities are jointly identified which rob efficiency in daily work. 

Partly through standardisation and transfer to specialist departments, partly through the development of digital solutions, the processing time for these activities is significantly reduced and, in the further course of time, supplemented by a process management system already in place in the business.
