Wolfgang Platte is a senior manager and expert in occupational safety, data protection and IT security. He has more than 20 years of experience in management positions and in interdisciplinary projects at the interface of technology, organisation and law.

After working in electrical engineering with a focus on security-critical applications, he founded ORA GmbH, a consultancy for data protection, occupational safety and digitalisation, in 2018. In 2024, the company was integrated into the CLARIUS.LEGAL Group as CLARIUS.LEGAL Data & Security GmbH.

Wolfgang Platte acts as an external occupational safety expert for several companies, authorities and social institutions. He also advises on the implementation of statutory safety requirements across all sectors – from digital occupational health and safety systems to data protection audits and IT security. With his technical and legal expertise, he develops customised solutions for complex requirements in various industries.
