CLARIUS.LEGAL AG expands its consulting services in data protection, IT security and occupational safety.
CLARIUS.LEGAL Rechtsanwaltsaktiengesellschaft takes over OraGmbH in over over which will henceforth operate under the name CLARIUS.LEGAL Data & Security GmbH. With this strategicintegration, the legalservice provider is further expanding its portfolio in the areas of data protection, IT security and occupational health and safety and positioning itself even more broadly in the market.. From–legal tech solutionsand legal advice to customised complianceand data protection consulting, CLARIUS.LEGALsupports companies in successfullyand the constantly growing regulatory environment.
The two board members of CLARIUS.LEGAL Rechtsanwaltsaktiengesellschaft, Dr Ernst Georg Berger and Nils Oberschelp, and Chief Governance Officer Dr Arnt Glienke will act as the new managing directors. Former Managing Director Wolfgang Platte will remain with the company as Senior Sales Manager.
In future, CLARIUS.LEGAL will offer its customers an even broader spectrum and added value in the fulfilment of legal requirements. “A digital management system combined with professional consulting to implement challenging business issues such as compliance, data protection, labour and IT security for SMEs is exactly in line with our approach of pragmatic, efficient solutions for companies.” Nils Oberschelp explains why Ora GmbH and CLARIUS.LEGAL have joined forces.

Dr Georg Berger emphasises that new synergies will arise from the merger, from which new and existing customers of both companies will benefit: “Building on the existing systems, we can offer everything from money laundering and compliance advice to a complete compliance management system that our customers need to keep their company secure. We can also supplement and further expand existing legal tech tools, such as our AI-supported solution for the Supply Chain Due Diligence Act, with the integration.”
With the services of CLARIUS.LEGAL Data & Security GmbH, the company is not only expanding its portfolio of legal advice and legal-related services. In addition to tried-and-tested solutions for critical data protection issues such as video surveillance audits, the implementation and documentation of transfer impact assessments (TIA) and software-supported data protection management, it will also offer safety-related support in accordance with DGUV Regulation 2, including the position of the occupational safety specialist. IT security consulting will be another focus in the future. This expansion makes it possible to dovetail an even greater variety of legal and non-legal services and also to fulfil further individual client requirements.
